From Archimedes to Einstein, Europe is the cradle of major scientific discoveries. European discoveries invites classes of pupils aged 8 to 14 to take part in compiling an encyclopaedia of Europe's major scientific discoveries and inventions, tracing the history of the foundation stones of modern science. With the help of numerous dccuments on the website, pupils are invited to produce in their classroom one of 12 discoveries and to communicate their results with other classrooms. Reports of researches and experiments will be published online on a multimedia notebook that can be individual or collective.
